Paris. 1922. MURDER!

Duke and Lolly had the pleasure of arranging a fabulous Murder Mystery birthday party in Brighton last weekend. The night was set in a 1920's Paris Casino. Everyone dressed up and played their parts superbly.

The murderer Mr. Renault! He fooled everyone with his charm and wit.

Happy Birthday Madame De Ville. You were fabulous!

May I have this dance my dear? Charity event for The Wonderbus

We arranged a special afternoon tea dance for local charity "Wonderbus" who take elderly people out for the day. Theatre trips, fish and chips by the sea, cinema and much more...and all free!
We were entertained by the fabulous Ragroof Theatre company who had everyone up dancing in the end. Afternoon tea and a good 'ol sing-a-long. 65 very happy people!

Get me to the church on time.................

Congratulations to Andrew and Kelly on there lovely
wedding at The All Saints Church in Lewes! It was a
pleasure to meet you.

Alexia & Tim's lakeside wedding celebrations

Duke & Lolly had the pleasure of arranging the wedding reception of Alexia and Tim a few weeks ago. The setting was a secluded lakeside in Polegate, the weather was lovely, the wine flowed and the guests were merry!

We celebrated in Yurts care of http://www.yurtopia.co.uk/, had a hog roast, space hopper racing, a swing band provided by the fabulous Sue Popper at http://www.joogleberry.com/, croquet, skittles and boating,

Some sweet words from the lovely Alexia:

'Maxine was simply amazing. She took the stress out of everything, I trusted her completely and she produced a yurt event that was beautiful, elegant and above all fun. We had luxurious seating, fairy lighting, sweets, a great band and a DJ who could play all the music I asked (including the Wurzels...)... We had a wonderful wedding and all we had to do was drink champagne - all else was done! I would thoroughly recommend Maxine - she is a wonderful person with even more wonderful ideas!'

What a perfect day it was!

Snails Scones and Sun Sun Sun

Baby Ruby's "Welcome to the world" Summer Fete went ahead in glorious style. Lovely people, fab weather, Frank Sinatra, clotted cream, bunting and Snail racing! Suzy the godmother wrote us the most loveliest review that it leaves me with nothing left to say but thanks to Suzy, Clodagh, Felix, Lola and Ruby for a lovely lovely day!

"Maxine made our village fete-themed event the best fun ever. She
organised children's games, made the village hall absolutely beautiful with
her handmade bunting and decorations, set individual places with flowers and
treats, and oversaw the most fantastic games and prizes - she even organised
an alternative tombola, with very funny prizes. (Nasal hair trimmers,
cheesy romance novels, denture repair kits etc). We loved it.

Outside she decorated the garden to make it like a children's fairyland,
and made a snail race track, complete with flags, for the children to do
snail racing, which they adored. (As did the adults).

She also oversaw the food and drink, so that when I arrived with all the
guests, the event was ready to go. It was a hugely reassuring experience to
hand it all over to Max, knowing her ideas, aesthetics, organisational
skills and fantastic attention to detail would far exceed anything I could
have ever managed myself.

A HUGE thank you Max, for a fabulously original day that we all thoroughly
enjoyed. Knowing what you can do, I'd now like you to organise everything
else in my life, from weddings to funerals!!"
