Okay, Okay, just how much do you lovely ladies charge?
Our standard rate is a 15% arrangement fee based on the cost of your final package.  So, for example if you have most of your event already organised, but you need your venue dressing at a cost of £500, our fee would be £75.  Easy as that!  We also offer fixed-fee packages for straightforward services such as venue sourcing, event-day management or styling consultations to assist you with theme and decor. 

I'm getting married in two weeks, the venue has burned to the ground and the caterers have fled with my deposit... WHAT SHALL I DO?!
Calm down, have a cup of tea, then get in touch with us.  We can't take your caterers to court, but we can get things fixed for you at short notice!  Duke & Lolly's cup does indeed runneth over with the most exceptional contacts in Brighton and beyond; we can help you overcome what may seem like the most insurmountable of problems, to ensure your day is the success you deserve.

We shall be visiting Brighton for a special occasion/birthday/hen night, and want to surprise the guest of honour with a champagne picnic/private luxury dinner/posh high tea.  Can you get everything arranged for us, even if we're miles away?
Absolutely.  We can work with you wherever you are to produce an exquisite event, guaranteed to furnish all involved with the most special of memories (even if it's just the two of you!).

I want to propose to my partner in the most unique and exciting way possible, whilst keeping everything super secret!  Can you help me?
Fancy a troupe of carnival queens to spell it out for you in glitter and plumes?  A proposal towed by bi-plane, flying overhead whilst you picnic on the beach? Perhaps you want to send a brass quartet to their workplace to play 'Under the Sea' from The Little Mermaid as you burst in, dressed as Jacques Cousteau, to propose?  We may not be able to guarantee the answer, but we can guarantee they'll never forget the question!

We're having a party, however, there is no bar as it's in a marquee.  I can't afford to provide all the drinks for the guests, but they keep telling me "no bar = no fun".  How can I sate the thirst of these people?  Can you bring me a bar please?
Yes, indeed we can!  From a simple help-yourself table, to a staffed and fully-licensed bar (and anything in-between), we can ensure your guests stay sufficiently watered and all on the correct side of licensing laws!

I'm a very organised person, and have arranged everything for my wedding, from booking the entertainment to sourcing the bouncy castle and vol-au-vent fountain.  I don't want to spend my wedding day orchestrating and organising though! Can you take over for me?
Duke & Lolly are logistical marvels!  We can offer many services that prove useful to the DIY event-organiser, anything from on-the-day management to re-confirming all your bookings and troubleshooting your schedule.  As they say, there's no job too big or small for Duke & Lolly- we've never said no to a request for help!

Hey... I'm sure I saw a page on this site that has something to do with propmaking...  Yep, there at the top!  What are events organisers doing making props?  Spreading the net a little wide, aren't we?
Duke & Lolly have a strong Arts and Stage background; within these arenas we cut our teeth designing stage sets and props, providing styling for film and photo shoots, even window dressing and creating interiors for character museums.  This broad experience translates very well into organising private events; many aspects of these endeavours are not as dissimilar as you may think!  We still enjoy our forays into television and film work, as it keeps our creative muscles well-flexed.
